Best Chicken Adobo Recipe For Weight Loss In 2021

If you’re a fan of Asian cuisine, and you’ve been a fan of the Anabolic Diet Framework – high in protein, low in fats and carbs, I have a delicious Filipino dish for you!

Introducing Anabolic Chicken Adobo!

Cooking Time:

  • Prep Time: 1 Hour
  • Cooking Time: 1 Hour
  • Total Time: 2 Hours

Ingredients:

  • 4-5 Pounds of Skinless Chicken Thigh (Substitute Chicken Breast if you really want to go Anabolic!)
  • Bay Leaves 3~6
  • Crushed Garlic Cloves 4~10
  • 1 Tablespoon of Peppercorn
  • 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
Try Santoku Knives…They’re all the craze…

Utensils Required:

  • Large Mixing Bowl
  • Cutting Board
  • Knife – We like using Santoku knives
  • Measuring Cups
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Dutch Oven (If you have one, otherwise, use a regular pot – but trust me, invest in a Dutch Oven – your cooking capabilities will expand infinitely if you go this route! The brand we use is Staub)

Instructions:

  1. Take all of the above ingredients, put them into a large mixing bowl, and marinate for an hour minimum. The longer you marinate, the longer the flavor will sit in!
  2. Put all the ingredients into a dutch oven, let the ingredients simmer for an hour, and voila! You have yourself some delicious Anabolic Chicken Adobo!
  3. OPTIONAL – if you want to add more flavor, when you put all the ingredients in the dutch oven or pot, add another 1/2 cup of soy sauce and 1/2 cup of white vinegar (This will make the adobo ooze with flavor!)

What makes this dish so anabolic? Depending on the meat you use, whether its chicken thigh or chicken breast you’re going to end up with a really lean dish!

Perfect for losing weight or perfect for maintaining your physique and not having to eat just regular old chicken breast with broccoli. (You’re gonna go crazy if that’s all you’re gonna eat!)
